Jaguar Land Rover announced a significant 36% increase in retail sales, achieving 3,214 units in just the first six months of the current fiscal year, according to their latest statement on Tuesday.
The company attributed this impressive growth in the April to September period to robust offtakes during both quarters, fueled by enhanced supply and unrelenting demand for its Range Rover and Defender models.
Rajan Amba, JLR India Managing Director, emphasized the success of local manufacturing initiatives, noting a 60% surge in orders for Range Rover models. As the festive season approaches, Jaguar Land Rover remains optimistic about sustaining the upward trend.
