The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) announced a successful military operation targeting Hezbollah infrastructures in southern Lebanon. Over 500 enemy bases and facilities were demolished, including a number of underground complexes, as well as extensive weapons caches, further diminishing the operational capabilities of Hezbollah terrorists.

In a coordinated effort, units from the IDF's 36th 'Ga'ash' Division, with support from the Golani Infantry Brigade, Etzioni Infantry Brigade (Res.), 188th Armored Brigade, and 282nd Artillery Brigade, engaged enemy forces. Enhanced by the Oketz 'Sting' Canine Unit and the Yahalom Special Forces Unit, the assault saw the eradication of Hezbollah's Maroun El Ras commander and the disruption of their rocket and assault capabilities.

The 188th Armored Brigade specifically targeted and destroyed the Hezbollah central command in the Yaroun region. Simultaneously, the Etzioni Brigade neutralized numerous underground sites and raided areas disguised as nature reserves. The 282nd Artillery Brigade facilitated maneuvering forces with strategic covering fire, backed by the Air Force, leading to the downfall of additional Hezbollah strongholds.
