The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has confirmed the elimination of several high-profile terrorist figures in recent airstrikes targeting Lebanon. Key operatives from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Hamas, and Hezbollah were among those killed.

In an intelligence-based strike, Nidal Abdel-Aal, head of PFLP's Lebanon Branch, and Imad Odeh, head of the PFLP's military office in Lebanon, were both eliminated. According to the IDF, Abdel-Aal played a significant role in orchestrating terror attacks against Israel, including the bus bombing in Beitar Illit and the shooting at the Huwara Junction earlier this year.

Additionally, Fateh Sherif, the head of Hamas' Lebanon branch, was killed in an airstrike. Sherif was reportedly responsible for coordinating terrorist activities with Hezbollah and recruiting operatives for Hamas. The IDF also announced the death of Nabil Qaouk, a senior Hezbollah commander, in a precise strike. Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah, was targeted and killed in airstrikes in Beirut's southern suburbs.
