The UAE's Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) has unveiled 'Data Bridge,' a groundbreaking project aimed at digitalizing connections with all entities associated with the Ministry's services. This initiative will enable proactive services, real-time document exchange, and data requests only once under the federal government performance agreements for 2023-2024.

Data Bridge aims to streamline customer experiences by reducing the amount of paperwork required and significantly cutting down the transaction time. The project is a crucial move towards minimizing governmental bureaucratic procedures. By the end of 2025, the initiative plans to achieve 100% digital connections with 50 government entities, raising customer satisfaction to 90% and halving the number of required documents by next year.

Minister Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei emphasized that the Data Bridge project marks a significant step towards the digital transformation of energy and infrastructure sectors. 'This project will facilitate real-time access to information, aiding in informed decision-making, and opening a new era of inter-agency collaboration. The economic benefits are evident as it will enhance service efficiency and competitiveness in these sectors,' he stated. To ensure its success, several agreements have been signed between MoEI and both governmental and private entities for system integration and seamless connectivity.
