Abu Dhabi [UAE], September 9 (ANI/WAM): President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan hosted Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration of Egypt, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi. During their meeting, Badr conveyed warm greetings from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and expressed hopes for continued prosperity for the UAE. In response, President Mohamed extended his regards to President El-Sisi, wishing Egypt further development and progress.

The leaders discussed the robust relations between the UAE and Egypt, focusing on cooperation in economic, developmental, political, and other key areas. They emphasized the importance of their strategic partnership in achieving mutual growth. Their conversation also included a broad range of regional and international issues, with a particular focus on the escalating conflict in Gaza. The leaders urged immediate ceasefire and stressed the need for unobstructed humanitarian aid delivery to the region's residents.

Both President Mohamed and Minister Badr underscored the importance of international efforts to prevent further regional escalation and crises. They reiterated their commitment to a comprehensive peace, based on a two-state solution, as essential for long-term security and stability in the Middle East. Additionally, they agreed on the necessity of ongoing consultation and coordination between their countries to strengthen joint Arab action in addressing regional challenges.

The meeting was attended by high-profile officials including Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court; and Ahmed Mubarak Ali Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President's Office for Strategic Affairs at the Presidential Court.
