Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his 'productive visit' to Brunei on Wednesday and departed for Singapore, aiming to enhance bilateral relations further. PM Modi expressed gratitude to the people and the government of Brunei for their warm hospitality and affection.

In a post on X, PM Modi said, 'My visit to Brunei Darussalam was productive. It ushers in a new era of even stronger India-Brunei ties. Our friendship will contribute to a better planet.' Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal confirmed that Modi's next stop is Singapore.

PM Modi arrived at Istana Nurul Iman in Bandar Seri Begawan on Wednesday, meeting with Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. The two leaders discussed strengthening bilateral ties. Modi also inaugurated the new Chancery of the High Commission of India in Bandar Seri Begawan and visited the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Modi's visit to Singapore will focus on enhancing trade and investment partnerships.
