Abu Dhabi [UAE], August 22 (ANI/WAM): The Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace participated in the inaugural session of the G20 Interfaith Forum (IF20) held in Brasilia, Brazil, from August 19-22. The event, themed 'Leave No One Behind: The Well-Being of the Planet and Its People,' aligned with G20 Brazil's overarching aim of 'Building a just world and a sustainable planet.'

The forum gathered an esteemed group of peacemakers and interfaith dialogue experts. Shaikh Al Mahfouz bin Bayyah, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace and Chair of the Religion and Civil Society Commission on Artificial Intelligence, addressed the attendees. He underscored the UAE's strong commitment to cultural diversity as a cornerstone of humanitarian efforts. Under the guidance of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE has transformed international relations into dialogues fostering solidarity, peace, and global initiatives, he noted.

Shaikh Al Mahfouz also spotlighted 'The Mohammed bin Zayed Water Initiative' as a key example of the UAE's dedication to resolving critical global issues. The initiative aims to secure water access for billions worldwide, highlighting the country's commitment to a sustainable and equitable future. The G20 Interfaith Forum collaborates with religious leaders and political representatives to shape the G20 agenda, leveraging the significant roles of religious institutions in global affairs. Through its vast network, it prioritizes essential global policy objectives and offers practical solutions for implementation at all levels of society.
