The FTA introduced numerous new programmes, increasing event numbers by 135.29%, thereby boosting satisfaction rates to 97.5% and supporting business sector compliance.

Abu Dhabi, UAE - The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has ramped up its awareness campaigns on Corporate Tax, which came into effect in 2023. These efforts have significantly increased in both scope and reach, drawing 8,220 participants in the first six months of 2024, a rise of 9.23% compared to the previous year.

Notably, participant satisfaction surged to 97.5% in 2024 from 93% in 2023. This improvement follows the introduction of new awareness programmes targeted at various business sectors, which have increased from 17 events in the first half of 2023 to 40 in the same period this year, reflecting a growth of 135.29%.

Director-General Khalid Ali Al Bustani affirmed the FTA's commitment to educating businesses on tax compliance through diverse means, including nationwide in-person and virtual workshops, and a comprehensive set of online resources. The continued efforts aim to ensure seamless implementation of the Corporate Tax Law, benefiting a broader audience and adhering to international best practices.
