Global leaders, including Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobga, US President Joe Biden, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, have extended their heartfelt condolences to India following the catastrophic landslides in Wayanad, Kerala, which claimed the lives of over 300 people.

In a statement shared on social media, Bhutan's Prime Minister Tshering Tobga expressed his deep sadness over the tragedy. US President Joe Biden, along with First Lady Jill Biden, also conveyed their sympathies, acknowledging the bravery of Indian first responders in the ongoing recovery efforts. Russian President Vladimir Putin sent messages of support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu.

The Iranian Embassy in India joined the outpouring of sympathies, extending condolences to the government and people of Kerala. According to officials, the death toll from the landslides has risen to 308, with over 273 individuals receiving medical attention. The Kerala Health Minister confirmed the numbers and praised the continuing efforts to aid those impacted by the disaster.
