Japan's House of Representatives Speaker Nukaga Fukushiro stated on Thursday that Japanese companies are eager to invest in India, particularly promoting a robust exchange of human resources. Fukushiro emphasized that enhancing economic cooperation between the two nations would generate employment for Indian youth and bolster Japan's economy.
During a meeting with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at Parliament House Complex, Fukushiro, leading a parliamentary delegation on a five-day visit, stressed the need for increased collaboration in technology sectors such as IT, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence.
Highlighting the strategic alliance between Japan and India, Fukushiro noted that the two democratic countries on the Asian continent share common values and commitment to the rule of law. He asserted that a strengthened partnership would contribute significantly to Asian peace and prosperity.
