Abu Dhabi [UAE], July 25 (ANI/WAM): Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), under the guidance of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has launched an advanced Agriculture and Food Security Data Platform to bolster food security and agricultural efficiency in the Emirate.
The platform acts as an advanced electronic gateway, offering precise data across various sectors, from agricultural production to distribution and consumption. It enables policymakers to derive actionable insights, thereby crafting policies that ensure a flexible and sustainable food system adept at mitigating food security and biosecurity threats.
Saeed Al Bahri Salem Al Ameri, Director-General of ADAFSA, emphasized the platform's role in driving innovation and supporting researchers and policymakers in developing effective agricultural solutions. The platform includes data from 16 strategic partners, monitoring over 335 indicators to provide comprehensive updates and early warnings related to food security threats, ensuring efficient crisis management and supply chain continuity.
