Angry Pashtuns stormed the Pakistani consulate in Frankfurt, protesting against state atrocities in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The demonstrators condemned the killing of Gilaman Wazir in Islamabad and forcefully removed the Pakistani flag from inside the consulate. Video footage of the incident went viral.

Pakistani journalist Arzoo Kazmi reported that two individuals were arrested. She posted on social media platform 'X', "#Germany: Afghan Nationals Storm Pakistan Consulate in Frankfurt, Pull Down Pakistani Flag; 2 Arrested." The Embassy of Pakistan in Germany condemned the vandalism and contacted German authorities to prevent recurrence.

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar also condemned the vandalism, urging Germany to uphold its responsibilities under the Vienna Conventions. The Pashtun community's unrest stems from ongoing human rights abuses in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including recent incidents of Pakistani security forces firing on peaceful Bannu protesters, resulting in multiple casualties.
