Abu Dhabi [UAE], July 14 (ANI/WAM): In an urgent humanitarian response, the UAE has provided three tonnes of medical supplies and various medicines to Gaza Strip to support its beleaguered healthcare sector and operational hospitals. This intervention follows recent events and developments in Khan Younis, where the healthcare sector has been pleading for relief due to critical shortages.

The medical aid package includes vital supplies for hospitals, medicines for diverse injuries, insulin dosages for diabetic patients, and various healthcare solutions. The UAE, working in coordination with different international medical organizations, aims to stabilize the rapidly deteriorating healthcare situation in Gaza caused by the ongoing conflict, which has rendered numerous hospitals non-operational.

Part of a continuous aid effort, the UAE has already sent 10 fully equipped ambulances along with other essential medical supplies, totaling 337 tonnes of assistance. This comprehensive support is intended to increase the healthcare capacity within Gaza's medical institutions and hospitals, enabling them to better serve patients and the injured during this crisis.
