In a bid to offer affordable health coverage to families, Galaxy Health Insurance Company Ltd has unveiled its first product, 'Galaxy Promise'. The standalone health insurer, approved earlier this year by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), announced this initiative on Thursday.
Galaxy Health Insurance is jointly promoted by Venu Srinivasan, Chairman Emeritus of TVS Motor Company, and V Jagannathan, founder of Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Ltd. The company revealed that 'Galaxy Promise' comes with sum insured options ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 1 crore. Customers can choose from multiple plans, including Signature, Elite, and Premier, providing much-needed flexibility.
Galaxy Health Insurance aims to address the increasing healthcare costs while fostering a culture of health and wellness. Managing Director and CEO G Srinivasan stated, "Our ethos is rooted in providing accessible, dependable, and proactive healthcare solutions. We are committed to financial security and preventive health for every family with new plans offering stability and comprehensive support."
