The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has sharply criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government for its failure to implement the Health Information Management System (HIMS) in Delhi, alleging indecisiveness at the core of the delay.

Sources within the AAP claim that although the Health Department had recommended the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (c-DAC) for rolling out HIMS, pressure from BJP-controlled officers led to a backtrack on the decision.

Vijender Gupta, Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, addressed a letter to Chief Minister Atishi, highlighting what he sees as an eight-year stalemate in executing the project despite previous recommendations and budget allocations.
