Hospital Scam Exposed: Staffers Allegedly Cheat Patients at Thane's Civic Hospital

In a startling revelation, eleven individuals have been implicated in a scam at Chhatrapati Shivji Hospital, located in Thane's Kalwa area. The accused include ten hospital staff who allegedly targeted patients by claiming a false shortage of medications in the hospital's dispensary.
The patients were supposedly coerced into purchasing medicines from outside pharmacies, allowing the perpetrators to gain financially from these illicit transactions. The police revealed these details, highlighting that the accused utilized fake prescription documents to deceive the patients.
Despite the serious allegations, no arrests have been made yet. The individuals face charges of cheating, forgery, and other related offenses under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Investigations are ongoing to bring the culprits to justice.
