The government of Tripura, under Chief Minister Manik Saha's leadership, is set to welcome a new super speciality hospital with a land arrangement finalized for Shija Hospitals and Research Institute (SHRI), an Imphal-based firm keen on expanding into the state.
In a recent address, CM Saha detailed the state's readiness to support this initiative with the allocation of land at Khayerpur, West Tripura. SHRI has committed to investing Rs 700 crore to bolster healthcare services, contributing to the ongoing improvements seen across Tripura's medical infrastructure.
As infrastructure development continues to attract investment interest, Saha expressed hope for further healthcare ventures, highlighting plans to seek more expressions of interest for additional super speciality hospitals in Agartala, aimed at countering patient referrals out of the state.
