From November 2023 to August 2024, the Union health ministry and associated institutions reviewed 9,608 files, including the removal of 505, as part of the Centre's campaign to institutionalize 'Swachhata' and reduce pendency. This initiative is part of the ongoing 'Special Campaign 3.0'.

The Union health ministry disclosed that alongside the file reviews, 25,660 public grievances, 3,146 appeals on CPGRAMS, 119 PMO references, 286 VIP references, 13 parliamentary assurances, and 53 state government references were resolved. Additionally, 817 cleanliness campaigns were conducted, generating Rs 13,37,262 in revenue from scrap disposal and freeing up 13,336 square feet of space.

The Department of Health and Family Welfare is gearing up for 'Special Campaign 4.0' slated for October 3 to 31, aiming to build upon the achievements of prior campaigns. These efforts have not only improved office environments but also contributed to operational efficiency and additional revenue generation.
