Jaipur International Airport has taken a significant step towards passenger safety by installing five Automated External Defibrillator (AED) machines throughout its terminal building. These devices, vital for providing immediate assistance during sudden cardiac arrest, are positioned strategically for rapid access.

AED machines are portable and equipped with an automatic voice instruction system, making them user-friendly even for common passengers. Upon experiencing a sudden cardiac arrest, staff or nearby passengers can quickly employ the AEDs and initiate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

The airport's administrative team also conducted comprehensive CPR training for all personnel, including duty managers and housekeeping staff. This training aims to ensure swift and effective response in emergencies, enhancing workplace safety and imparting valuable life-saving skills. Dr. Aparna Pandey, the orchestrator of the training session, emphasized the importance of AED installations in public spaces as life-saving measures.
