As part of efforts to enhance healthcare accessibility, the service enables patients to consult doctors via video calls using smartphones or computers, the statement added. By providing affordable and accessible healthcare from home, the initiative aims to ease the burden on hospital outpatient departments.

Offered free of charge on the e-Sanjeevani Telemedicine Portal, coverage includes General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, ENT, Dentistry, Dermatology, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, and Unani. A total of 75 doctors and 67 link officers are available from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 2 pm, and on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.
