VP Dhankhar Condemns Silence of NGOs on Violence Against Health Warrior

Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Sunday questioned the silence of certain NGOs regarding the violence against a health worker at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, labeling the incident as "barbarity expressed in extremity."
Speaking to students and faculty at AIIMS Rishikesh, Dhankhar condemned the barbaric act and criticized NGOs for their selective silence, calling it worse than the crime itself. He urged that such incidents be seen beyond political perspectives.
The vice-president also highlighted the importance of safeguarding medical professionals and called for societal responsibility, emphasizing that the issue transcends political lines and questions the core values of India.
