Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde on Sunday underscored the critical importance of blood donation, lauding it as invaluable for saving lives.

Speaking at the inauguration of the 'Maha Raktadaan Camp' organised by the All India Gau Shala Sahayog Parishad, Bagde referred to blood donation as ''Mahaadan'' or ''great donation.''

He emphasised the need for continuous awareness and motivation to foster greater participation in blood donation drives. ''Blood donation is invaluable for saving lives. For this, continuous awareness should be created and more and more people should be motivated for it,'' Bagde remarked. During the event, he interacted with the donors, congratulated them, and awarded them with certificates.
