The 'Annual Report on Registration of Births and Deaths in Delhi-2023' shows mixed trends. The infant mortality rate decreased marginally from 23.82 in 2022 to 23.61 in 2023. However, the maternal mortality rate saw an increase from 0.49 to 0.45 per thousand live births.

The total number of births registered in 2023 was 3,15,087, indicating a daily average of 863 births.
