The Federation of Resident Doctors' Associations (FORDA) and the Federation of All India Medical Associations (FAIMA) announced that a decision regarding the ongoing strike would be made post Supreme Court hearing.
In response to the situation, the Supreme Court set up a 10-member task force to develop a national protocol ensuring doctors' safety and workplace facilities.
