Rajasthan Races Ahead: Run for Fit Initiative Launched

In a significant move to promote fitness across the state, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma flagged off the 2025 'Run for Fit Rajasthan' program at Amar Jawan Jyoti near Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The ceremony witnessed the presence of Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.
During this event, Sharma awarded certificates to athletes excelling at the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand. Rathore underscored the importance of the fitness event, noting that a healthy society blossoms with healthy individuals. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to fostering athletic talent through initiatives like the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS), with Rs 30 crore already allocated for athlete incentives.
The event also highlighted plans for constructing stadiums across various regions and offering land leases under the Bhumi Aavantan Niti to international athletes. Earlier, Sharma inaugurated agricultural projects in Bikaner, pointing out the pivotal role of farmers in the state's growth and the administration's ongoing efforts to support agricultural development.
