The launch of the Kanubari Agro-Spices Producers Company Limited marks a significant development in sustainable agriculture in Arunachal Pradesh, according to Agriculture Minister Gabriel D Wangsu. Speaking at the launch event in Longding district, Wangsu stressed the importance of responsible farming practices.

He urged the newly formed Farmer Producer Company (FPC) and local farmers to closely collaborate for the region's agricultural growth. Wangsu reassured attendees of his commitment to monitoring the progress of beneficiary farmers, highlighting the need for proper use of government schemes.

The initiative is crucial in realising the Spices Mission, aimed at transforming Kanubari into a hub for organic spice production. Part of the broader Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCD-NER), the project seeks to create better income opportunities for local farmers while fostering self-reliance and inclusive growth.
