Fearing for his safety after learning about a local murder, Bablu arranged his wife Radhika's marriage to her lover, Vishal, in Uttar Pradesh. This unconventional decision was made to prevent potential harm, inspired by a similar case in Meerut. Bablu retains custody of their children.

In a rather unusual turn of events, a man in Uttar Pradesh facilitated the marriage of his wife to her lover, citing concerns for his own safety. This follows a notorious case in Meerut where a husband was allegedly murdered by his wife and her lover.

Bablu, hailing from the Katar Mishra village, took the extraordinary step to marry off his wife Radhika to Vishal Kumar. The couple tied the knot at a local temple on Monday. Bablu, employed as a laborer, decided on this course of action after discovering Radhika's year-and-a-half-long affair with Vishal.

He took this drastic measure after repeated attempts to curtail the affair failed. Bablu told PTI, "In recent days, we have seen that husbands have been killed by their wives." He ensured the legality of the marriage by doing so in the presence of villagers and retains custody of their two children.
