Russia's Defence Ministry on Wednesday accused Ukraine of attempting to attack Russian civilian energy infrastructure in three different locations. The accusations come despite what the ministry claims is a U.S.-brokered agreement to temporarily suspend such attacks.
According to a statement released by the ministry, Ukraine allegedly targeted a gas storage facility in Russian-annexed Crimea, as well as energy infrastructure in Russia's Kursk and Bryansk regions.
The Kremlin announced on Tuesday that both Russia and Ukraine had reached an agreement to temporarily halt strikes on oil refineries, pipelines, and nuclear power stations for 30 days.
