City Crime Branch Busts Major Tobacco and Drug Operations

The City Crime Branch's Anti-Narcotics Squad conducted successful raids confiscating illegal tobacco products and drugs worth millions and arrested key figures involved. The operations took place near Kalasipalya and Ram Rao Layout with ongoing efforts to apprehend other suspected individuals.

The Anti-Narcotics Squad of the City Crime Branch (CCB) executed a significant raid near Kalasipalya Police Station, apprehending a suspect involved in the illegal storage of tobacco products. The operation led to the recovery of Rs 45,00,000 worth of goods from the brands Hans and Ganesh, now in possession of Kalasipalya Police for further legal action.

Efforts are underway to locate two other individuals connected to this case. Almost simultaneously, CCB received intelligence on prohibited drug activities in the Ram Rao Layout of Katthariguppe. Prompt action resulted in the arrest of a suspect with MDMA crystals and ganja valued at Rs 10.50,000, along with a vehicle used in the operations.

All seized items and arrested individuals were handed over to local police for further investigation and prosecution. The CCB's Anti-Narcotics Squad demonstrates an unwavering commitment to uprooting illicit activities, with ongoing investigations to nab other fugitives.
