With the vibrant festival of Holi just around the corner, Indian markets are bustling with enthusiastic shoppers eager to grab colors and pichkaris. 'Gulal' and 'abeer' are in high demand, painting a picture of excitement and preparation across the nation.

Homes are joyfully adorned with lively decorations, while kitchens fill with the sweet aroma of gujiyas being prepared. Ayodhya mirrors this national fervor, as residents engage in festival shopping, gearing up for the celebrations.

Earlier this week, the Rangbhari Ekadashi festival brought joy to Kashi Vishwanath Temple, marking an unofficial start to Holi. This vibrant event preludes the main celebration, while Mathura's traditional 'Lathmar' Holi, celebrating the tales of Krishna and Radha, captivates locals and tourists with its unique allure.

In Nandagaon, women engage in playful battles with men, sustaining a tradition filled with laughter and color. While the air resonates with chants and Holi bhajans, elaborate arrangements in Nandagaon embellish the atmosphere. The celebrations extend to Barsana, continuing this cherished tradition.

Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, will host grand processions and cultural events, leading to Holi. Authorities ensure smooth festivities with enhanced security and crowd control measures. Simultaneously, Sambhal celebrated Rangbhari Ekadashi Holi amid secure environments, ensuring peace and joyful celebrations nationwide. (ANI)
