RSP MP N K Premachandran has raised serious concerns regarding the conduct of the Parliament during the ongoing budget session, accusing the government of obstructing meaningful debates. Speaking to ANI, Premachandran underscored several issues the opposition deems critical and in need of immediate discourse.

Premachandran asserted that the opposition remains committed to ensuring the Parliament operates effectively, but accused the government of stifling dialogue to avoid tough conversations, like the recent increase in US tariffs. Among sidelined topics, he also mentioned the impending introduction of the controversial Waqf Bill.

Meanwhile, Congress MP K Suresh announced plans to address key issues during the budget session's second segment, highlighting the contentious delimitation process's impact on southern states. Similarly, DMK's Tiruchi Siva and other MPs have moved to discuss urgent issues, including internal security and underfunded projects, underscoring the need for comprehensive parliamentary attention.
