Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma extended his greetings to the people of Assam on New Year's Eve, calling 2025 "memorable" for the state's progress. Posting on X, Sarma reiterated his government's dedication to the state's development.

"With this, the 2024 season comes to an end! What a memorable year it has been for Assam. Our Govt has taken every step to ensure the development of our people and we reaffirm our commitment to keep working 24/7 for the State," he stated. Meanwhile, President Droupadi Murmu also shared her New Year wishes, emphasizing unity and excellence.

President Murmu, in her message, extended heartfelt greetings to Indians globally. "The coming of the new year marks the beginning of new hopes, dreams, and aspirations in our lives. Let us welcome the New Year with joy and enthusiasm," she remarked, urging further societal and national progress. (ANI)
