In a critical letter, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena expressed dismay at AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal labeling Chief Minister Atishi a 'temporary Chief Minister'. Saxena condemned the remark as an insult to Atishi, the President of India, and his own office, emphasizing that it contravenes constitutional values.

Saxena argued that Kejriwal's definition lacks constitutional basis and constitutes a severe disregard for democratic norms established by key figures such as Baba Saheb Ambedkar. He pointed out that Atishi's appointment amid ongoing governance challenges adds weight to her role, notwithstanding Kejriwal's public acknowledgment of these issues.

Highlighting recent departmental warnings against non-existent schemes under the former CM, Saxena appreciated the officials' transparency. The LG expressed hope for Atishi's success, framing his correspondence as both a personal message and a record of the political climate as Delhi gears up for assembly elections next year.
