In the midst of worsening pollution in Delhi, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has raised alarms over the capital's air quality, describing it as a 'gas chamber' and calling for urgent solutions. She expressed these concerns on X, comparing Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) unfavorably to Wayanad's healthy levels.

Joining the chorus, Congress leader Mumtaz Patel critiqued both the Delhi and Central governments, accusing them of engaging in a blame game rather than addressing the escalating pollution crisis. She noted that promises made during election campaigns by parties, including AAP, have fallen short, blaming AAP's governance in Delhi and Punjab for the lack of progress.

Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla criticized AAP, claiming that under their leadership, Delhi's air quality has become worse than Lahore's, with AQI levels soaring and residents forced to wear masks. Poonawalla also accused AAP of deflecting blame onto neighboring states and traditional practices like stubble burning during this critical period.
