Alpex Solar, a leading renewable energy firm, has announced an impressive over two-fold increase in profit after tax, reaching Rs 25.07 crore for the April-September period of 2024-25. This marks a considerable jump from Rs 10.03 crore during the same timeframe in the previous fiscal year, according to the company's exchange filing.

The company's total income also witnessed a substantial 30% rise, climbing to Rs 265.66 crore in the first half of 2024-25, compared to Rs 204.90 crore in the corresponding period of 2023-24. This financial ascent is attributed to winning notable contracts, including two orders worth Rs 525.15 crore for solar modules.

Additionally, Alpex Solar secured an order for solar pumps valued at Rs 34.51 crore this month. As articulated by Ashwani Sehgal, the Managing Director of Alpex Solar, ''The first half of fiscal year 2025 has propelled us toward the next level. We are embarking on a transformative journey from solely manufacturing solar panels to potentially integrating cell-to-solutions operations, paving the way for a broader product portfolio and a diverse presence within the renewable energy domain.''
