Suresh Prabhu Takes Helm of Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture
Former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu has been appointed as the new chairman of the Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture (ICFA). Prabhu is set to lead efforts to advance agro trade, technology, and investments in Indian agriculture, while promoting innovative agricultural technologies and supporting farmers.

The Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture (ICFA) announced the appointment of former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu as its new chairman this Monday.
Prabhu, with his extensive international experience, including roles on various UN bodies and as India's Sherpa for G-7 and G-20 countries, is set to propel ICFA's mission of enhancing agro trade, technology, and agricultural investments in India.
His agenda includes helping farmers tap into market opportunities, promoting cutting-edge agricultural technologies, policy research, advocacy, agribusinesses, and agro trade. Expressing his vision, Prabhu remarked that the collective effort could harness technology, improve infrastructure and supply chains, and ensure fair compensation for farmers' produce.
