Gujarat Promotes Agricultural Growth: CM Patel Inaugurates State-wide Procurement

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel kicked off a state-wide procurement drive for groundnuts, soybeans, urad, and moong from Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha district, emphasizing the state's commitment to fair prices for farmers. The initiative, part of the Price Support Scheme (PSS), will see purchases conducted over a 90-day period at 160 centers across the state.
CM Patel highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's strong support for farmers, crediting him with launching welfare schemes that promise water, electricity, fertilizers, and fair crop prices. Key infrastructural developments, like providing Narmada River water for irrigation, constructing Amrit Sarovar, and promoting natural farming, were also emphasized.
The event saw CM Patel presenting cheques to farmers under various schemes, alongside Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel's gratitude for the CM's leadership. He reiterated the state's commitment to agricultural progress through transparent procurement and support mechanisms, aimed at doubling farmers' income and enhancing their financial well-being.
