Flender India is set to increase its investments in the local market as part of a strategy to boost growth, a company official has revealed. This move highlights the market's importance for Flender Group, a century-old enterprise focused on wind turbine drive gearboxes.
The company's investments in India have nearly quadrupled over the past four years, serving both domestic and global demands from its production sites in Kharagpur, Chennai, and Walajabad.
During a visit to commemorate the group's 125th anniversary, CEO Andreas Evertz expressed pride in advancing the energy transition, crediting the employees as the backbone of their growth strategy.
