Assam Rifles organized medical camps in the remote districts of Tengnoupal and Chandel in Manipur on Saturday. In coordination with district health authorities, these camps provided complimentary health screenings and distributed essential medicines.
A dedicated team of doctors and healthcare professionals from Assam Rifles delivered free healthcare services to around 150 individuals, the official release stated. "The camps offered free medical consultations, screenings, and essential medicines, ensuring accessible quality healthcare for villagers," the statement read.
Conducted at Phaisanjang, the camp saw 83 attendees obtaining health check-ups and personalized advice, underscoring the importance of regular medical assessments. Moreover, Assam Rifles spotlighted cancer prevention, focusing on early detection and lifestyle choices through an awareness session.
