Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav marked a significant milestone in women's empowerment on Saturday by distributing funds at an event in Indore. With a single click, Yadav disbursed Rs 1573 crores to 1.29 crore Ladli Behna Yojana beneficiaries across the state, as part of a monthly Rs 1250 instalment.
The CM also facilitated Rs 55 crores for 26 lakh women availing the LPG cylinder refill scheme and Rs 333 crores for 55 lakh social security pension recipients. Yadav emphasized the government's commitment to increasing aid, highlighting the recent rise from Rs 1000 to Rs 1250, with plans for further increments.
In his address, Yadav lauded Prime Minister Modi for reserving 33% of parliamentary or state assembly seats for women. Celebrations included fireworks and a sword fencing demonstration by women. The CM praised participants on social media, calling them 'embodiments of Shakti' and vowed continued efforts for their welfare.
