Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared this year's Diwali celebrations exceptional, noting it as the first after the return of 'Lord Ram to his temple' in Ayodhya in 500 years. Adityanath conveyed Diwali greetings following his visit to the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Temple, emphasizing the historical significance of the festival.
The 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla at Ayodhya took place on January 22, 2024. During a public gathering, Adityanath described the Deepotsav celebration as a prime example of societal unity in festival observance.
Extending his congratulations statewide, Adityanath expressed hopes that Diwali spreads joy and prosperity. He highlighted the unique opportunity for Ayodhya residents celebrating the festival in the presence of Ram Lalla, symbolizing global unity and faith.
