Larsen & Toubro Secures Major High-Voltage Infrastructure Projects in Middle East and Africa
Larsen & Toubro has secured significant contracts in the Middle East and Africa to enhance high-voltage electricity grids. The projects, ranging from Rs 5,000 crore to Rs 10,000 crore, include collaborations for Kenya's National System Control Centre and high-voltage transmission lines in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Larsen & Toubro, a leader in infrastructure development, announced on Wednesday that it has secured major international projects aimed at expanding high-voltage electricity grids in the Middle East and Africa.
These significant contracts, classified between Rs 5,000 crore to Rs 10,000 crore, have been won by the Power Transmission and Distribution (PT&D) division. Notably, one of the key projects involves building Kenya's National System Control Centre, designed to manage the country's power flow efficiently.
Other notable projects include new high-voltage transmission lines in Saudi Arabia and additional substations in Qatar, contributing to ongoing power system expansions. L&T, valued at USD 27 billion, continues to execute major EPC projects globally.
