In a landmark declaration on the occasion of the 9th Ayurveda Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi heralded the inauguration and foundation of health sector projects valued at approximately ₹12,850 crore in New Delhi. This significant development took place at the All India Institute of Ayurveda.

PM Modi highlighted the cultural significance of Diwali, noting that it marks the celebration of Lord Shri Ram's return after 500 years. The Prime Minister also stressed the integration of the ancient practice of Ayurveda with modern healthcare, marking a notable trend over the past decade.

Emphasizing the government's health priorities, Modi outlined five key pillars including preventive care, early disease detection, and widespread availability of affordable treatment. He praised initiatives like the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which has benefited millions, and announced plans to ensure further healthcare and infrastructure advancements across the nation.
