The Delhi High Court has prolonged the interim bail of Nakul Khari, a man previously convicted in the 2010 Ashok Vihar Triple murder case, by one month. Khari, who was detained for over 14 years, was among three men convicted for the murders of two women and a man in the Ashok Vihar area.

A division bench comprising Justices Prathiba M Singh and Amit Sharma granted the extension. The trial court had ruled against Khari alongside Ankit Chaudhary and Mandeep Nagar in September 2023, delivering their sentences on December 19, 2023. Khari's appeal remains pending at the High Court.

The bench ordered the interim bail on humanitarian grounds after considering the lengthy incarceration period. Amit Rana, Khari's advocate, petitioned for this extension, highlighting the recent demise of Khari's brother-in-law. Khari expressed a desire to spend time with his family, prompting the court's decision.
