In a heart-wrenching incident at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, a 21-year-old second-year MSc student was reportedly found dead, suspected of taking his own life. The young man, originally from Deoghar, Jharkhand, was discovered hanging in his hostel room, according to Delhi police.

Authorities revealed that the tragic discovery was made when the student's friends, along with IIT staff, broke a window to access the room after it was found locked from inside. A medical report showed the student was undergoing psychiatric treatment, with his next appointment set for October 29. Unfortunately, no suicide note was recovered from the scene.
