The Amaravati Drone Summit 2024, a landmark event held at the banks of the Krishna River, captured global attention as it set five Guinness World Records. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed profound gratitude to the organizers and participants for their stellar performances, which included the largest planet, landmark, and airplane formations.

In his social media post, Naidu highlighted the evening's historical significance, describing it as the 'dawn of the drone era in Andhra Pradesh.' The event, attended by Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, underscored a strategic roadmap to propel drone technology in the region, with plans to make Amaravati the 'drone capital of India.'

Naidu announced the allocation of 300 acres in Kurnool district for a drone hub, envisioning the training of 35,000 drone pilots to position the state as a leading human resource center for drone technology. He assured the release of a comprehensive drone policy within 15 days to facilitate business operations. Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu commended Naidu's vision, noting the widespread enthusiasm the summit ignited.
