Uttarakhand to Celebrate Statehood with Devbhoomi Silver Festival
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced grand celebrations for the State Foundation Day, named as Devbhoomi Silver Festival. Starting from November 6, the events will feature the inauguration of Uttarakhand Bhawan in Delhi, festivities in Dehradun, and motivational activities until November 12.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has unveiled plans for grand celebrations marking the State Foundation Day as the Devbhoomi Silver Festival. The announcement came during a meeting held at his residence, where a detailed framework for various events was outlined, as per an official release.
The festival celebrations will kick off with the inauguration of Uttarakhand Bhawan in Delhi on November 6, followed by the Uttarakhand Pravasi Sammelan in Dehradun on November 7. The main event, State Foundation Day, is scheduled for November 9, with the Devbhoomi Silver Festival: Uttarakhand Silver Story running until November 12.
Chief Minister Dhami emphasized the importance of involving all segments of society, including migrants with a love for the land, youth, women, farmers, artisans, environmentalists, and state agitators, in the festivities.
He highlighted the rapid progress of Uttarakhand in various fields, and stressed the inclusion of everyone in motivational activities throughout the festival.
The events will encompass cultural programs, sports, quizzes, special conferences, and camps, showcasing the development trajectory of the state. The year's festivities will culminate in Kumaon Mandal in 2025.
