Pune Rural Police made a significant seizure of Rs 5 crore from a vehicle intercepted at the Khed Shivapur toll plaza. The operation, which took place during a Nakabandi on the night of October 21, was confirmed by Superintendent Pankaj Deshmukh.
The seized money has been transferred to the Income Tax Department for detailed investigation, as authorities aim to understand the source and intended use of such a substantial amount.
Currently, four individuals and the car's driver are under police questioning as the investigation unfolds, maintaining focus on deciphering any potential connections or illegal activities related to the seized funds.
