The body of Shashi Bhushan Abrol, a victim of Monday's Ganderbal terror attack, arrived in his hometown of Jammu, casting a somber shadow over the Talab Tillo area. Residents gathered to pay their last respects, and family members mourned deeply, with several breaking down in tears.

The attack, which occurred on a tunnel construction site on the Srinagar-Leh national highway, claimed the lives of a doctor and six construction workers. Terrorists ambushed the site as personnel returned to their camp in Gund, Ganderbal, marking a deliberate and targeted assault.

The family of Shashi Bhushan Abrol, who was the primary breadwinner with two young children, expressed anger and despair. His brother and father recounted the last conversations with him and their devastation upon learning of his death. In response, Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister Omar Abdullah called for heightened security measures to prevent future incidents.
