In an unfolding saga that has gripped Bollywood, actor Salman Khan recently found himself at the center of a chilling extortion threat demanding Rs 5 crore. The threat came via a message on October 18, aimed at settling a feud with notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The threatening message was initially sent to Mumbai Traffic Police's control room, sparking widespread concern.

Days after issuing the threat, the sender, who claimed ties with Lawrence Bishnoi's gang, sent another message to Mumbai Traffic Police, this time offering an apology. The sender stated the previous threat was 'sent by mistake,' an assertion that Mumbai police are taking seriously. The police have traced the location of this communication to Jharkhand.

The case has been registered by Worli Police, in the context of heightened security concerns following the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique. The message had ominously warned Salman Khan that without payment, his fate could mirror Siddique's. This development has added an intriguing layer to ongoing investigations, where the lines between threat and misunderstanding blur.
